hi everyone
all of us here at mekcast had a real busy period over the past months and we sincerely apologise for the silence. i still got stuff to do but there's still time for a short update i guess. so here goes.
to CHRIS: thanks for the suggestion but fei yu qing's songs are quite hard to find. maybe you can post the weblinks for us to enjoy? to KNS: as i just said, we apologise for the inactivity. but we'll try to update more often to PLS ENTER A NICK: get lost to CURIOUS ALIEN: i don't understand what you're saying to HUAT AR: sorry but the MPI idea's off for now i guess
which reminds me. the MPI will be shelved till further notice due to outstanding commitments. sorry! finally, let's do music

听妈妈的话-Jay Chou Hi there! another update from us... Today, we feature Jay Chou's 听妈妈的话. Another song from his "Still Fantasy" album, it has a great beat and makes you want to groove along to it, doesn't it? Another great effort by Jay here. Ok, enough of Jay for you guys, next feature will be someone else, we promise :)
MEKcast-musicblog will be launching the Music Performance Index (MPI) in the near future. The objective of the MPI is to track songs' performance in the region through their rankings in various charts.
The format of the MPI is simple. When a song gets ranked in the top 10 in any of our included charts, it earns Performance Index (PI) points for the song and the singer(s). The PI points for each song is then added up. Every week, the points are added up and compared. The results will be reflected in the Weekly Ranking.
At the end of the season, the PI scores are tallied for each song that has at least 1 PI point. The final score is then given for each song. A Final Ranking will be produced to compare the scores of various songs. Similar rankings for artistes and/or albums may be considered given sufficient interest and resources.
